Antwerp: Lecture shouted down by radical Muslims |
03.04.2010 - Dutch author and notorious critic of Islam, Benno Barnard, gave a lecture last night titled: "The Islam Debate: Long Live God, Down with Allah!". It was part of a series of lectures about the Enlightenment, organized by the secularists in Antwerp University. Several radical Muslim organizations called beforehand via websites to come to the hall and disturb the lecture.When the lecture began at 8pm, forty Muslims were among the public. Iranian demand for ban on anti-islamic
05.09.2008 - Filip Dewinter, surprised about Iranian demand for ban on anti-islamic congress in Cologne. The Iranian press agency IRNA announced the Iranian government has summoned the French EU-delegate to whom it uttered its worries about the increasing hostiliy towards islam in Europe. The Iranian government has insisted on banning the anti-islamic congress organized by "Cities against Islamization" and the German Pro-Köln movement on 19 and 20 September in Cologne.
