    Antwerp: Lecture shouted down by radical Muslims

    03.04.2010 - Dutch author and notorious critic of Islam, Benno Barnard, gave a lecture last night titled: "The Islam Debate: Long Live God, Down with Allah!". It was part of a series of lectures about the Enlightenment, organized by the secularists in Antwerp University. Several radical Muslim organizations called beforehand via websites to come to the hall and disturb the lecture.When the lecture began at 8pm, forty Muslims were among the public.     For more than 10 years Fortis offers a piggy bank to children after opening a Eurokids account. The piggy bank named Knorbert is the mascot of a commercial campaign touting for children to become new Fortis customers. Because "Knorbert does not meet the requirements that multicultural society dictates us" the plush piggy bank has been purged from all offices. From the side of Islam there have been several complaints about this harmless gadget. Now Fortis is contemplating about a new gift for its youngest customers which "will please children of any cultural background."

    After the halal funds stunt, Fortis once again pampers Islam. Bocyott Fortis, for there are still enough banks which aren't that indulgent to Islam !
